What is Arena?

Arena is a platform for youth sports. Families discover camps, tryouts, and training programs. Parents book 1-on-1 lessons with verified coaches. Coaches and organizations run their programs end to end — scheduling, payments, messaging, and rosters.

How do I create an account?

Tap Get Started, enter your email or phone, and verify with the code we send. You can set up your primary profile and add dependent profiles for each athlete in your family.

Is Arena free to use?

Yes — Arena is free to browse, create a profile, and message coaches. You only pay when you register for a program, book a lesson, or subscribe to a recurring program. Coaches pay a small platform fee on paid registrations.

Bookings & Registrations

How do I register for a camp or event?

Open the event page, pick the sessions, add each participant, and check out. Registration is instant — you and the organizer both get a confirmation email with all the details.

How do I book a 1-on-1 lesson?

Visit any coach's profile, tap Book a Lesson, and pick a time from their calendar. You'll pay at checkout; the coach is notified immediately and you'll see the booking in your dashboard.

Can I register multiple kids at once?

Yes. On registration you add a participant per session. Each kid is managed through a dependent profile tied to your parent account.

What is a subscription program?

Some creators run recurring programs (e.g. weekly practices, monthly training). These are subscription-based — you get charged monthly until you cancel, and you keep access to all scheduled sessions in that period.

Payments & Refunds

How are payments processed?

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Arena never stores your credit card number. Full payment details live in your Wallet section under Settings.

How do I get a refund?

Every event and lesson has its own cancellation policy set by the creator (typically 24–48 hours before start). If you cancel within the policy window, the refund is automatic to your original payment method. See our full Cancellation Policy for details.

When does a coach get paid?

Creator payouts are issued to the coach's Stripe account on a rolling basis after the event takes place. The platform fee is disclosed at registration and deducted before payout.

What fees does Arena charge?

Arena charges a small platform fee (typically 4.99% + $0.30) on paid registrations. This covers payment processing, dispute resolution, fraud protection, and the software you're using. The fee is split transparently at checkout.

Your Account

How do I add my kids to my account?

Go to Profiles, tap Add Dependent, and enter their name, DOB, and any medical or emergency info. Parents control all dependent data; dependents never log in directly to Arena.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from the Profile tab → scroll to Delete Account. Deletion is permanent: all your profiles, messages, bookings, and payment history are removed. Outstanding subscriptions are cancelled. If you're a coach with pending bookings, those must be resolved first.

How do I change my notification preferences?

Open the Profile tab → Notifications toggle (push) and email digest setting. You can also adjust Do Not Disturb windows from the Messages settings.

How do I block or report another user?

From any profile or message thread, tap the ⋯ menu and select Report or Block. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours; blocked users cannot message or see your bookings.

For Coaches & Creators

How do I list my first program?

Sign up as a coach, tap Create, and choose Event, Course, or Recurring. Add your sessions, pricing, and capacity. Publish when you’re ready — your program shows up in Explore immediately.

How does Arena review creators?

Every creator is manually reviewed before their first program goes live. We verify identity, credentials where provided, and compliance with our community standards. Reviews are updated continuously as reports come in.

Can I run a team or organization?

Yes — create an Organization from your Hub. Invite staff with specific roles (admin, coach, viewer). All programs can be listed under the organization for unified branding and payouts.

Safety & Privacy

Is Arena safe for kids?

Arena is designed for parents and coaches; children under 18 do not have independent logins. Every creator is reviewed, conversations can be reported, and we act on reports within 24 hours. See the full Privacy Policy for COPPA compliance details.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored on encrypted servers in the U.S. Payment data lives in Stripe's PCI-DSS environment, never on Arena's servers. We don't sell your data to third parties — ever.

How do I report inappropriate content?

Every message, profile, event, and review has a Report action in its ⋯ menu. Reports go to our moderation team and are acted on within 24 hours. For urgent safety issues, email hello@arenasports.space directly.
